The US Capitol Violence

 The US Capitol Violence

As soon as the results of the US presidential elections  got declared, it became one of the most talked topics in the world. With the results that favored Joe Biden, ignited rage amongst the American mob supporting the former President, Donald Trump. The continuous retraction to accept the outcome of the election  and alleging the system to be an erroneous one by Trump was brimming up the tension in the air.

On the 6th of January, the US Capitol witnessed violence and a massive outbreak of  the mob raged by the defeat of Trump. Furious over Congress formally conceding Joe Biden and Kamala Harris as the winners of the 2020 Presidential elections, the pro-Trump mob apprehended the Capitol.

A lockdown was imposed on Wednesday, after the Trump supporters marched into the troops to attack the historic building creating havoc, chaos and breaching the capitol. It was a deliberate attempt to coup the legal certification of the elections. The strident group of people protesting on the streets, holding banners, wearing T-shirts and caps, with the caption 'Keep America Great' embossed, ransacked into the building, disrupting law and order. Few people were spotted  climbing on the Dias and yelling "Trump Won The Election" at the top of the lungs. So far, two or more protesters were shot dead.

Trump is being condemned for instigating fire and provoking the mob, causing havoc in the city. Gaining criticism for his  stubborn behavior, disrupting peace and order and assassinating the essence of democracy , Trump is being called a fascist and a nefarious leader. The former US president is also banned from different social networking sites.
